		<description>In the past 20 minutes I've run across your "one more reason why women....." entry, nodding my head throughout, followed the link here, read through your intelligent quirky, thoroughly enjoyable posts, thought "I like this woman", realised you're IN HAWAII, at UH (who would have thought?), maybe I could find this person and we could have coffee and talk about geosciencey things. BUT! alas, no, you're moving to Boulder. 
Ugh. Best of luck in your move. Crunch some leaves under your feet next fall for me.</description>

		<description>I am so sorry. My grad school cat Taos (I was at UNM) also made it to 17 (passed away in 2001). Must be something about that part of the country. She was never more than 6 lbs and a playful kitten right up to the end. I am not really a sentimental type when it comes to pets, but this one was special.</description>
